Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of DubSplit (the "Service"), a web tool that transcribes, translates and subtitles videos and helps you dub them into other languages. DubSplit is operated by , based in ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
You upload your own video in your browser. DubSplit extracts the audio, identifies who is speaking, translates what is said and produces subtitle files, voice tracks and a finished video. The video file itself stays on your device; only its audio and the text you review are sent to our servers and to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
2. Plans, trial and billing
- Free: 15 minutes of video per month, videos up to 5 minutes long.
- Pro monthly: US$ 4.99 per month, 300 minutes of video per month, videos up to 60 minutes long.
- Pro yearly: US$ 14.97 per year, 100 minutes of video per month, videos up to 60 minutes long.
Pro plans start with a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and you are charged the price of the plan you chose, and then again at the start of each billing period until you cancel.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Prices shown include applicable taxes.
Minutes are counted from the length of each video you process and reset on the first day of each calendar month. Unused minutes do not carry over.
3. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the subscription management link in your Paddle receipt email, or by contacting us at . When you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for (or until the end of the trial) and is not renewed after that. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
4. Your access key
DubSplit does not use passwords. When you subscribe, your browser receives an access key that unlocks Pro. Keep a copy of it: anyone with the key can use your Pro minutes. If you lose it, contact us with the email used for your purchase.
5. Your content and acceptable use
You keep all rights to the videos, audio and text you process with DubSplit. You give us permission to process them only as needed to provide the Service.
You may only process content that you own or that you have permission to translate, subtitle and dub. You must not use the Service to:
- infringe copyright or other rights of anyone else;
- create or spread content that is illegal, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit, or that impersonates a real person without their consent;
- interfere with the Service, get around its limits, or resell it without our written permission.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules.
6. Automated results
Transcriptions, speaker detection and translations are produced automatically and can contain mistakes. Review the script in the editor before you publish. You are responsible for the content you publish.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep DubSplit available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features over time. If we change prices, we will tell existing subscribers in advance, and the new price will apply from their next billing period.
8. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell subscribers by email before it takes effect.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of , without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
